About us

Our Story

At Langlands Motorcycles, our story begins with a deep love for two wheels — and the people who ride them. Founded in 1992 by Grant Langlands, a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, we’ve proudly served the Wairarapa region and beyond for over 30 years.

What started as a single-site dealership in Masterton has grown into a trusted name for farm bikes, side-by-sides, and road bikes throughout New Zealand. Today, Langlands Motorcycles remains a proudly family-owned and operated business, with Grant’s daughter Amber managing the Masterton store, and his son Jay overseeing our Greytown branch.

In 2017, we expanded to Greytown and introduced the Husqvarna Lawn & Garden range to our offering. Most recently, in 2025, we completed a major renovation of our Masterton showroom and workshop, and were appointed the official Husqvarna Pro-Partner for the Wairarapa region — a reflection of our ongoing commitment to innovation, service, and growth.

While Honda motorcycles remain at the heart of what we do, we’re just as passionate about supporting our customers, our staff, and our local community. Whether you’re a farmer, a weekend trail rider, or new to life on two wheels, our experienced team is here to offer genuine advice, dependable service, and a welcoming place to connect with fellow riders.

At Langlands, we believe in keeping things simple: quality products, fair pricing, and looking after people. We’re proud of our roots — and even more excited about the road ahead.
